Turkish Peace Rally Turns Violent

In a violently ironic twist, a small riot broke out in the Turkish city of Istanbul during a rally for International Peace Day today (9/1).
The problems started when some people wearing masks didn't allow police to search them before entering the site of the rally reports Dogan News Agency. And then the situation escalated from there, culminating with the masked men throwing Molotov cocktails and police firing tear gas into the crowd.
