Several anonymous readers have pointed us to the news that Spanish authorities are investigating whether malware may have played a role in the crash of Spanair Flight JK 5002 in 2008 that killed 154 of its 172 passengers and crew. It seems that a computer system residing in Spanair's HQ that records aircraft faults was infected with multiple Trojans.
